Last Friday, a student came to see me to do his lab internship with me. Matthias Jantowski will spend six months on a small project for Iconic Programming Language for Children. He will create an environment that enable an object to be control using iconic-animate behavior for children to understand and enable them to think and to program. He will decide the language to be used in his lab internship, either C++ or Squeak. He have already some skills in C++ and he want to discover a new language. But before he start, he has to play around with Squeak and he will decide upon various aspects. Next meeting will be May 2, 2007.
